A FORMER drug and alcohol addict has shed half his body weight after fearing he would die before his 50th birthday.
Stephen Rock knew he needed to change his lifestyle when he tipped the scales at 29st 7lb after battling his addictions for many years.
The 51-year-old said he'd vowed to never take drugs again when he woke up from a coma after an overdose in February 2020.
But when the Covid lockdown began a month later, he began drinking too much to curb his boredom.
