BLACKMAILING SEX WORKER ORDERED TO REPAY CASH TO VICTIMS

A SEX worker who blackmailed her clients by threatening to expose them to their families has been ordered to give her victims full refunds.

Lauren Hunt created an online profile as a sex worker so she could catfish married clients and blackmail them into sending her cash. The 25-year-old threatened to expose them to friends and family if they didn't pay up.

When the terrified victims tried to block her online, she simply created a series of new profiles to continue targeting them for ransom money.

And Dundee Sheriff Court was told that two of her three victims were so scared of being outed that they allowed her to empty their bank accounts.

Sheriff Paul Brown ordered Hunt to repay her clients in full and placed her under a home curfew from 7pm to 7am for 12 months. He placed her under social work supervision for three years.
