Boy and girl of 15 'planned Brianna murder on phone'

TWO teenagers plotted the murder of 16-year-old Brianna Ghey in a disturbing series of phone messages, a court heard.

The boy and girl, aged just 15 at the time, are accused of stabbing Brianna 28 times before leaving her to bleed to death in a park.

Their murder trial heard the pair - known only as Girl X and Boy Y - were preoccupied with violence, torture and death.

Deanna Heer KC, prosecuting, said: "They encouraged one another to think about how they would actually carry out a killing, and the messages show how they planned together to kill Brianna in just the way that she was in fact killed.
