Nigel: Last year's Euro misery is fuelling latest bid for glory

NIGEL CAROLAN insists Glasgow are on a mission to avenge last year's bitter Euro disappointment.

Warriors made it all the way to the Challenge Cup Final only to be thrashed by Toulon in Dublin.

Franco Smith's side take on Harlequins on Friday night in the last 16 of the Champions Cup.

It's their first knockout tie since that Toulon beating and Carolan is adamant they want to show they can compete at the highest level.

The Glasgow attack coach said: "We were really disappointed with the end of the year and the final with Toulon in the Challenge Cup.
