OLYMPIC bosses have been accused of betraying the legacy of the Games - after the boxing clash between Angela Carini and Imane Khelif sparked controversy.
The IOC came under fire in the wake of Carini abandoning the bout after just 46 seconds and breaking down in tears.
Khelif is one of two boxers allowed to fight at the Games despite being disqualified from the women's world championships in 2023 for failing testosterone and gender eligibility tests.
