DONS KID RYAN IS FLYIN' AND HE IS NOT DUN YET

RYAN DUNCAN has packed as much into his breakthrough season as some players manage in an entire career and the Aberdeen kid isn't finished yet.

When the final whistle blows at Parkhead today to bring to an end the Dons' rollercoaster season that has seen them finish the best of the rest, the 19-year-old midfielder will start to pack his bags for Spain with Scotland Under-21s.

And while a double header there against Norway next month means he won't have as much of a break as his Pittodrie pals, the youth academy product believes it will have him perfectly tuned up for a crack at Europe next term.

When you consider Dons' horror run of form after the World Cup break, which culminated in Scottish Cup humiliation at Darvel and the sacking of Jim Goodwin, it's little wonder the teenager shakes his head at it all.

He said: "It has been some experience that's for sure.
