Esther: Did asbestos at BBC cause my cancer?

DAME Esther Rantzen wonders if her Stage 4 lung cancer may have been caused by asbestos in the BBC's buildings.

The That's Life and Hearts of Gold presenter, 83, spent decades working in the corporation's sites, including Lime Grove studios in West London, where That's Life was based.

Speaking of life since her diagnosis in January, Dame Esther said: "I'm making the most of each day, usually by sitting in my garden, enjoying the fresh air, the birds and the summer flowers.
