A MUSIC fan had her jaw smashed by a thug at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend after she tried to stop him abusing his girlfriend.
Keris Bennie, 28, was on her way out of Camperdown Park in Dundee on Sunday when she saw the man verbally abusing and dragging his partner.
When the Fife mum told him to stop, he broke her jaw with a single punch.
Keris will have a metal plate in her face for life following the senseless assault.
She may also never regain full feeling in her mouth due to a severed nerve and will be on a liquid food diet for weeks.
