Gove: Bring a case over Mone's £60m

MICHAEL Gove says he has "cooperated" with the National Crime Agency probe into the scandal surrounding Baroness Michelle Mone and PPE Medpro - and hopes the investigation results in a criminal case.

The Tory minister was accused by Scottish bra tycoon Mone of knowing about her links to the firm in a car crash TV interview on Sunday.

Yesterday Gove admitted he has been spoken to by police probing alleged fraud regarding Mone and her husband Doug Barrowman and their £202million deal to supply PPE equipment to the NHS.

The Scots-born senior Tory said: "With respect to fairness, as I'm sure you know, there is a National Crime Agency inquiry going on.

"I've cooperated with that inquiry because I want to ensure that it reaches its conclusion quickly, that justice can be served.
