Bout billed 'Hate Runs Deep' but Taylor vows punters will love second helping

HOOK LINE & STINKER

JOSH TAYLOR insists his rematch with Jack Catterall will provide the thrills after claiming their first scrap was a "stinker".

Tomorrow's fight has sold out Leeds Arena, neutral territory for two warring rivals, with the tagline of "Hate Runs Deep".

This isn't quite Chris Eubank against Nigel Benn or near the scale of Carl Froch and George Groves, that packed Wembley.

But British boxing rivalries have something about them and generate interest - even more than two years on from the first bout.

The Prestonpans puncher got a controversial decision in their first outing back in February 2022, which led to: British official Ian John-Lewis being downgraded for scoring the fight in Taylor's favour.

That was for the undisputed titles at the time but this outing won't have any belts on the line.
