PHILIPPE CLEMENT reckons his humble heroes are giving him headaches and their success isn’t falling out of the sky.
The Rangers manager, who confirmed his 15-goal winger
DON'T GET RID OF HIM
RIDVAN YILMAZ is not leaving Rangers until Philippe Clement finds a replacement.
At this rate, it might be wise not to let him go at all.
Yilmaz has been the subject of interest from Italy and Turkey during the wheelings and dealings of this month's transfer window.
But the 22-year-old remains firmly in place for now and delivered his first Premiership strike of the season to set Clement's team on the road to success in the capital.
It was a finish as sublime as the set-up by John Lundstram and bettered only by Todd Cantwell's sizzler on the stroke of half-time.
Cantwell had just been dumped on the trackside by two Hibs players in an act which also left Hibs boss Nick Montgomery on the deck.
And his team were soon floored by the playmaker's fourth of the term.
It was Cantwell's last act of the contest but ensured Rangers would get the job done.
Clement first arrived into this title fight last October with a whirlwind whipping of Hibs.
Stepping out into stage two of the battle, the Belgian gave them another buffeting to suggest his Rangers side won't be blown off course in the hunt for the crown.
Montgomery was criticised that day at Ibrox for not having the proper defences in place. The storms had gone last night but Gers still caused him more carnage.
Clement says it's up to his team to show doubters such as former Hibs boss Neil Lennon they have the mentality to go the distance. Passing this type of test is precisely the way to do it.
