BARRY MAGUIRE admits he is desperate for Dundee to play Motherwell next season in the Premiership.

The 24-year-old Fir Park midfielder joined the Dark Blues on loan last month and has quickly established himself as a key player for the titlechasing Championship side.

Maguire's main focus is on winning promotion with Dundee but he also has one eye on his parent club as they battle to avoid the drop from the Premiership.

The Steelmen parted company with boss Stevie Hammell last Saturday but managed to pick up a precious league win on Wednesday by beating St Mirren at home to move three points clear of bottom club Dundee United.
