Grieving dad tells Constance of trauma suffered by family after accused walked free

THE heartbroken dad of Grace Handling has met the justice secretary to ask her to cage killer drug dealers.

Stewart Handling took his case for Grace's Law to Holyrood after his 13-year-old daughter was killed by ecstasy given to her on her last day of school.

The 53-year-old, from Irvine, Ayrshire, wants to see laws targeting dealers who cause death by supply after watching the man who admitted giving his daughter the drug walk free from court.

In a meeting with Angela Constance this week, Stewart said Grace had been denied any justice when chef Callum Owens was cleared of culpable homicide on the controversial not proven verdict, set to be scrapped.
