PEP GUARDIOLA admits even he is not immune from the sack.

A record 12 top-flight bosses have been axed this season as the managerial merry-goround reached full swing.

Guardiolas Manchester City go up against a Southampton side today that has it’s third different boss of the season.

The Spaniard admits it is a reflection of modern football that people like him are under constant pressure to get results.

And he believes he would get the bullet as well if he stopped being successful.

Guardiola, who has never been sacked during his managerial career, said: It’s modern times, unfortunately.

“Before it was more difficult to sack managers but today it's always around the corner.

“With different owners and a lot of investment, everyone has pressure.
