I'LL BE TWO GOOD IN 25

ROBERT MACINTYRE has set himself a new year goal to become second only to Scottie Scheffler in the world rankings after he booked his spot at The Masters.

MacIntyre's seventh place in the Bahamas has seen him move to a career high of No.14 and he'll make his third outing at Augusta after missing out last year.

The Oban lefty had inched his way inside the top 50 in the world for the first time in his career and to world No.39 in early June after banking the RBC Canadian Open title.

Five tournaments later, MacIntyre was on home soil when he sensationally captured the Genesis Scottish Open, leaping to world No.16.

In his 10 events ahead of last week's Hero World Challenge he continued that progress, ending his penultimate event of the year in Dubai as No.15.
