Moult is good as Gold after ending his barren run

WHEN Louis Moult closes his eyes he can almost hear the Dundee United fans serenading him with a chorus of 'Always Believe'.

The adapted version of Spandau Ballet's 1980s classic 'Gold' has followed Moult from Motherwell to United as his trademark song.

And scarcely has it ever meant more before than it does now, as Moult is thriving on the belief he feels from the United fans, his team-mates and, particularly, manager Jim Goodwin.

Moult ended an eight-game barren run without a goal with a double in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Arbroath.

That came after a pep talk with Goodwin and took Moult's tally to 10 for the season as United keep the pressure on Championship leaders Raith.
