ISLE SHOOTING SUSPECT 'FELT LIKE A VICTIM'

THE man accused of a murderous gun rampage in the Highlands saw himself as a victim, according to a doctor who interviewed him.

Finlay MacDonald is on trial for stabbing his wife, shooting dead his brother-in-law and then attempting to murder an osteopath and his wife on Skye and the mainland.

Forensic psychiatrist Dr Alastair Morris told the High Court in Edinburgh he had interviewed MacDonald after the 2022 attacks.

The accused claimed he was not well and had suffered a physical and nervous breakdown the previous week.
