Animal pounced on neighbour's Collie

A WOMAN who was mauled to death by her dog was facing charges over an earlier attack by the same animal, it has been revealed.

Michelle McLeod, 41, was pronounced dead at a flat in Foresterhill Road, Aberdeen, at about 11.15 pm on December 7, after emergency services were alerted to the incident.

Police Scotland said the dog, an American bulldog called Bailey, has since been destroyed.

Now a neighbour has told how Michelle was charged after Bailey attacked her collie, called Clyde, in June this year.
