LAURA Anderson has shared her "horrendous" birth story after she suffered a haemorrhage and lost litres of blood.
The former Love Island star became a first-time mum to daughter Bonnie Rose with her ex Gary Lucy this month.
The Scot announced the news of her arrival last week after admitting she had "complications in hospital which left her mum and Hollyoaks star Gary "worried" for her health.
She has now revealed what happened during labour.
The 34-year-old said she lost 1.6 litres of blood due to a haemorrhage after her daughter's birth and suffered a second-degree tear which required stitches. Laura described parts of her labour as being "mentally torturous" and "horrendous"."
She encouraged women giving birth to "not be a hero and get the epidural" - admitting she waited until she was 9cm before caving in.
