Pedro vows 'united team' is primed for pitch battle after court one avoided

PEDRO MARTINEZ LOSA has welcomed the 'ideal' solution that enables the Scotland Women's team to fully focus on the Nations League game against England a week today.

Legal action between the national side and the SFA was halted yesterday morning after a resolution was struck between both parties.

The women's team had started the process of legal action as they sought parity with their male counterparts from sponsorship and commercial deals.

They also wanted to be on a par to Steve Clarke's side when it came to training facilities, hotels, travel, kit and medical resources.

And while the Spaniard maintained that the background legal argument has never been a distraction, he was nevertheless content there was an agreement reached without it going to court.
