The boss of DF Concerts is fresh from coordinating a pair of huge gigs by US rock band Green Day at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, with tens of thousands streaming through the gates over both nights.

Taylor Swift staged a record breaking three nights at Murrayfield stadium and TRNSMT is still to come in Glasgow.

This week, Geoff is bringing the Summer Sessions series of concerts to Stirling for the first time the eighth UK city to host the event.

Country-pop icon Shania Twain, Welsh legend Sir Tom Jones and pop favourite James Arthur are among the acts set to play in the shadow of Stirling Castle at City Park.

It all begins tonight with James taking to the stage alongside double Eurovision winner Loreen, Kilmarnock alt-rockers Fatherson and former Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Cammy Barnes.
