Blind supporter and Sam tour every Scottish league ground

A FOOTBALL fan and his guide dog are the first man and canine to visit every SPFL stadium.

Dundee United supporter Jon Attenborough, 34, and labrador Sam ticked off the last of the 42 grounds on Saturday when they watched Forfar Athletic v Stranraer at Station Park.

The accountant from Perth said he is "thrilled" he's been able to complete the stadium challenge, which involved travelling hundreds of miles across the country to raise awareness of how accessible Scottish football is.

After completing the challenge on Saturday, the pair were presented with gifts from the SPFL - with Jon receiving a special commemorative plaque and Sam an SPFL medal to wear around his neck.

Jon said: "I'm a big football fan and love Scottish football, so it's amazing to have visited every single ground with Sam. It was such a special day completing it.
