A DEFIANT Humza Yousaf has vowed to fight on after Labour launched a bid to topple him as First Minister and bring down his whole government.
The SNP leader is facing a new threat after Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar yesterday launched a motion of no confidence in Humza's government, which is in freefall after dumping his Green coalition partners.
Yousaf's future as the leader of the country is now hanging by a thread after he pulled the plug on the Bute House Agreement between the SNP and Greens.
But he came out fighting yesterday insisting he could run a minority I've hea government.
Speaking in Dundee, Yousaf appealed to all parties in Holyrood to help "make minority government work".
And he offered an anger a honestly olive branch to the was n inte Greens, insisting he wanted to YOUSAF O FROM TH continue working with them on an issue-by-issue basis.
Yousaf had earlier cancelled a planned speech in Glasgow and chose to visit Dundee where he toured recently completed flats in Hilltown.
Asked if he would resign, Yousaf said: "No, I absolutely intend to fight that motion of no confidence. Why? Because the people of Scotland elected the SNP as the largest party in the Scottish Parliament.
"So all this political game-playing the opposition is doing. I'm going to leave it to them. I'm announcing £80million for affordable housing, that's the priorities I'm focused on."
Pressed if he would resign before a vote of no confidence can be held, he said:
