It's Friday night lights out for Burnley after Porro stunner

IF Tottenham go all the way this season they will be playing Pedro Porro's goal for years to come.

It was one of those brilliant efforts good enough to light up any cup run and leave the fans dreaming of Wembley.

Tottenham full-back Porro's sensational 25-yard strike was totally out of keeping with a rather dull FA Cup third-round tie but the fans in the sellout 60,982 crowd will not care.

Boss Ange Postecoglou clenched his fists, celebrated the moment and probably felt a huge slice of relief that the 78th-minute winner meant their winter break was not interrupted by a replay in Burnley.

The former Celtic manager said: "The bottom line is we are through to the next round and that is what you've got to take out of it because I said before the game the cup games are a unique beast in themselves.
