A WOMAN left suicidal with a premenstrual condition has told of her struggle to get doctors to take her seriously.
Stephanie Gray, 30, from Edinburgh, received a diagnosis of premenstrual dysphoric disorder after years of dealing with dark thoughts, mood swings and severe depression every month.
At 19, while studying, nursing at university in Dundee, Stephanie attempted to take her own life after her symptoms increased in severity.
She said: "I'd shift from relatively normal life to being suicidal, and that happened every single month without fail.
