The East Kilbride ace is on the comeback trail after suffering a broken jaw in his failed bid to win the UK crown against Mikael Lawal at the end of last year.

The Scot is back in the ring tomorrow on the undercard of Nathaniel Collins' British and Commonwealth clash with James Beech at the Double Tree Hilton in Glasgow.

Jamieson admits it's now or never for his belt dream and he won't be sitting back waiting for another opportunity.

He said: "I don't want to be fighting journeymen any more. No disrespect to them as we need them for the learning fights.

"But I'm 31 now, I've been doing this for 16 years and time is of the essence. I'm not kidding anyone on.
