SUNSTROKE SCOT FOUND DEAD ON 1ST HOLIDAY ABROAD

A MISSING Scot has been found dead in an alley after suffering severe heatstroke on his first holiday overseas.

Robert Campbell, 44, was reported missing after failing to board a flight home with a pal on May 11, at the end of a week-long holiday in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote.

The dad of one, from Uddingston, Lanarkshire, had ended up "delirious" in hospital after reacting badly to the hot weather, before later becoming separated from a friend, who flew home alone.

Robert's sister Margueritte Devine said he was understood to have left hospital and checked himself into a hotel to recover but he is then believed to have collapsed in the alley outside a pub before his body was discovered on Monday night.
