Dark Blues on brink of glory but Ashcroft says 'title' has never crossed Bowyer's lips...

DUNDEE could be crowned champions this weekend but Lee Ashcroft insists there is still no "title talk" at Dens.

The Championship table-toppers play Cove at home tonight sitting one point ahead of Queen's Park in second and with a superior goal difference.

The Dark Blues and the Spiders meet on the final day of the season next Friday.

However, a win for Gary Bowyer's men over rock-bottom Cove this evening combined with a Queen's Park defeat against Morton at Cappielow tomorrow will mean Dundee going back to the Premiership at the first time of asking.

But centre-half Ashcroft said: "The way the manager is, he doesn't let us get too far ahead of ourselves. I can honestly say that I have never heard the word 'title' come out of his mouth once.
