George: We're back in survival fight and can prove doubters wrong

SHAMAL GEORGE reckons being written off has made him even more determined to help Livingston avoid the drop.

The Lions boosted their bid to fend off relegation by beating St Mirren last weekend their first Premiership victory in 17 games.

That result has lifted Davie Martindale's side to within three points of Ross County ahead of today's clash in Dingwall.

Livi keeper George was well aware that his side were regarded as no-hopers by everyone outside the club before they beat the Buddies.

He said: "A lot of people were writing us off, saying, 'They're done now. But that's us right back in it so we have to focus on ourselves and not Ross County.

"I never thought we were out of it, to be honest.
