The star was worried she would be typecast by her role presenting the reality TV hit from 2000 to 2010.

"Every other show I tried to do alongside Big Brother has been a bit of a turkey, she said. "I was like without Big Brother, who am I?"

But the 56-year-old has proved there's life after reality with her latest hit, The Masked Singer, which returns on Saturday with Davina in a judge's chair.

The Londoner has previously said her self-titled 2006 BBC chat show was so bad, people gave her sympathetic hugs in the supermarket.
