TIME FOR REBOOT UP THE BACKSIDE

STUART KETTLEWELL has called for a VAR reboot in the summer - and an action plan to be drawn up to help improve the standard of officiating.

The Motherwell manager insists it's time the reset button was pressed on the video technology after a season of controversy on top of dispute.

Well took on the system when they fired in their own footage of contentious incidents to Hampden last month, highlighting what they perceived were inconsistencies and lack of clarity over decisions.

Kettlewell's frustration hit boiling point in the 1-0 defeat to Aberdeen when Lennon Miller's goal was chalked off after a lengthy VAR delay for the ball brushing against Theo Bair's arm in the build-up.

Later in the game a similar incident involving Aberdeen skipper Graeme Shinnie in his own box went unpunished.
