Too big for the dentist chair..so I lost 11 stone

A CHOCOLATE-LOVER who weighed more than 33 stone was given a "reality check" after being told he was too heavy for a dentist's chair.

Bank worker Peter Gray, from Dunfermline, ended up with a 60in waist after bingeing on sugary snacks, bread and takeaways during the pandemic.

But the 49-year-old received a wake-up call after going to get his wisdom teeth removed at a dental hospital discovering he exceeded the maximum weight limit of the chair.

Spurred on to do something about it, he joined Slimming World and walked through the doors of the Townhill group for the first time 14 months ago.

Having shed a whopping 11-and-a-half stone already, Peter is now embracing his slinkier lifestyle and enjoying caravan holidays away with husband Stuart and their dog Daisy.
