Medics warn of health risks and Say devices are targeted at kids

SCOTLAND'S leading child doctors today urge SNP and Green ministers to ban disposable vapes.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) backed the Record's campaign to outlaw the devices amid surging use among kids.

Our Bin the Vapes campaign is aimed at throwaway single-use vapes which have become a craze among youngsters while also blighting streets with huge amounts of pollution.

It comes as the Scottish Government yesterday confirmed it plans to finish its review of disposable e-cigs-potentially including a ban this month. It was launched in the wake of our calls to take the gadgets off our shelves.
