Unite branch tells members fo cross Unison picket line

TWO top trade unions have clashed over a bitter pay dispute and school closures.

A local Unite branch said it was "bizarre" for Unison to continue with strike action and advised members they may have to cross a picket line.

Schools will close next week for three days over a walkout by staff including cleaners and caretakers.

Unison confirmed the action after describing a revised offer by council body Cosla as "too little, too late".
