SIR Rod Stewart has said thank you to supermarket giant Tesco for helping to make his whisky a runaway success.
The singing star launched Wolfie's Whisky with businessman Duncan Frew just over a year ago.
The blended Scotch, made on the banks of Loch Lomond, proved popular with fans and whisky connoisseurs alike. It was quickly snapped up by Tesco and is now on sale in more than 400 UK stores.
