We will strike again if ships are attacked

THE UK has warned Yemen of further military action if it attacks ships again in the Red Sea.

Lord Cameron said the Government "had no choice but to act" against Houthi militants following months of attacks on merchant vessels.

It culminated in joint US-UK airstrikes on Friday.

Yesterday the Foreign Secretary added: "We're prepared to follow words and warnings with action." Lord Cameron warned the world was facing a period of great peril and the "lights are absolutely flashing red".

But he blamed Houthi rebels for hiking tensions and denied the UK was adding to them.

He told the BBC's Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg: "Since November 19, you have had these 26 attacks.
