Pascal proves the difference but Davis is 'positive'

BRIGHTON hotshot Pascal Gross sent 10-man Wolves spinning to another defeat but Molineux manager-in-waiting Julen Lopetegui should feel positive”.

That was the verdict of caretaker coach Steve Davis after watching the Midlands strugglers, who had Nelson Semedo dismissed before halftime, bravely hold on own until Gross’ fifth of the season killed them off in the 83rd minute.

Lopetegui’s Premier League dug-out debut will come after the World Cup but the ex-Real Madrid and Sevilla chief is expected in town for next Saturday's clash against Arsenal.

And Davis, with one win in his six games, said: We saw a lot to be positive about today. The performance was good. Hopefully, he can take this forward. If I was in shoes, Id want more numbers and more quality:
