JOFRA ARCHER'S impressive return to the England white-ball firing line bodes well for a hot and fiery Test summer from the fit-again speedster.

Jos Buttler and his men may have huffed and puffed to prove their T20 champions status and thrill the Caribbean locals during this World Cup.

Yet Archer sending down the kind of rapid missiles which are mixed with real accuracy and penetration - has at least given the management and supporters a reason to smile and be optimistic for the red ball months to come.
