JARROD BOWEN fired a timely reminder to Gareth Southgate that his World Cup dream isn’t over.
The Hammers winger cracked home his first Premier League goal of the season as he reacted impressively to a setback with the Three Lions this week.
Bowen was omitted from Southgate’s England squad ahead of the Nations League draw with Germany – a reflection on his indifferent start to the campaign.
But the 26-year-old wrapped up three points for relieved home boss David Moyes that helped the Hammers out of the bottom three, after Gianluca Scamacca’s deflected first-half effort set them on their way.
He also assisted for the Italian to grab his first Premier League goal in front of his own supporters following a £35million move from Sassuolo during the summer.
