JOS' FANTASY WORLD Buttler the kid to land trophy

JOS BUTTLER is hoping to live out his garden fantasy for real when he becomes the latest England captain to lift a World Cup.

To join both Paul Collingwood in 2010 and Eoin Morgan in 2019 as successful England men's captains at World Cups, Buttler will need to cajole one more big performance from his side who were utterly dominant against India, but are up against a Pakistan side who feel destiny is on their side.

Buttler has enough experience to know that the only thing that really matters is the quality of performance on the day.

Adapting to the conditions, coping with the forecast rain, or the crowd that is going to be strongly supporting Pakistan.

Deal with those elements and then dreams can turn into reality.

"As a kid you certainly have a few dreams about that kind of thing," said Buttler.
