FORMER Post Office boss Paula Vennells was accused of shedding “crocodile tears” at the Horizon inquiry.
It came as a leading campaigner revealed the police are set to investigate the scandal.
Vennells, 65, struggled to answer questions during her testimony on the wrongful prosecution of nearly 1,000 sub-postmasters after the Horizon IT system made it look like cash had gone missing at their branches.
