As if choosing England’s triumphant Euros anthem ‘Sweet Caroline’ wasn’t enough for her initiation at new club Bayern Munich, she then doubled down. 

After Bayern landed the league title six weeks ago, she grabbed the microphone again – and repeated the feat.

Badly. Film footage of the celebrations (below) show Stanway, 24, attempting to keep up with the words and failing miserably.

It capped a huge 12 months for the midfielder (above).

Stanway made a deliberate choice to move abroad from Manchester City and it has paid off in style.

She is now preparing to play a key part in England’s World Cup mission that starts in Brisbane at 10.30am UK time a week on Saturday against Haiti.
