Jonny out as Baz rings changes to Test squad

JONNY BAIRSTOW has been axed from England Test duty in a radical shake-up of Ben Stokes' side.

Head coach Brendon 'Baz' McCullum and his captain have carried out major surgery.

Ben Foakes and Jack Leach have also been dropped as the selectors called up three uncapped players.

Wicketkeeper-batter Jamie Smith (inset) is joined by new seamers Gus Atkinson and Dillon Pennington for the forthcoming series against the West Indies while spinner Shoaib Bashir has been preferred to his Somerset team-mate Leach.
