The teenage sensation romped to victory last night in the first Players Championship of the year, hitting a nine-darter during victory over Michele Turetta and missing double 12 for a second of the day against Cameron Menzies.
Wins over Alan Soutar and Luke Woodhouse helped Littler, 17, reach the final where he averaged almost 110 but still needed a last-leg decider to beat Ryan Searle 8-7 in Wigan.
