JACK DRAPER said he was “incredibly proud” to become the first British man since Andy Murray to reach the US Open quarter-finals – but claimed he is not finished yet.
The British No.1 reached the last eight of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career with a 6-3 6-1 6-2 destruction of Czech ace Tomas Machac.
This is the first Major since 2012 New York champion Murray retired at the Olympics.
And Draper, 22, said: “It’s an incredibly proud moment for me and hopefully I can do more. It’s one of the biggest tournaments in the world.
