Sancho turned his back...United must too

JADON SANCHO should have played his last game at Manchester United - if the club is serious about sorting itself out.

Whether Erik ten Hag stays or goes as manager shouldn't determine whether or not the winger returns.

Nor should Sancho suddenly rediscovering his form while playing back at Borussia Dortmund on loan make him wanted again at Old Trafford.

That's because he didn't just undermine the manager with his social media outburst at Ten Hag's reasons for leaving him out of the squad for the Arsenal game back in September.

He also undermined his team-mates and the club's fans.

Sancho has spoken publicly twice this season. Once was to say he was being made a "scapegoat" and then the second was to show his delight in leaving Manchester.

In between, he refused to apologise to his manager.
