IT HAS been a marathon season but for Jack Grealish it went on just that little bit longer.
The clock had ticked past 11pm when he emerged from the exit of Old Trafford - a ground where he would expect to be hated and vilified.
Maybe he will be again next season but on Monday night it was a snapshot of his superstardom. Hundreds of kids were still waiting, the shrieks of 'Jack' piercing the evening air after England's 7-0 win over North Macedonia.
Grealish signed autographs and posed for pictures for a good five minutes but the desperation and fandom from those waiting for a glimpse of the Manchester City player made it feel like a pop star had just left the arena after a huge gig.
This is the life of Jack Grealish now. His Treble heroics and celebrations have put him on the biggest of stages.
