Welsh out to strike against English after demands met
THANK RUCK IT'S ON

ENGLAND'S Six Nations game against Wales on Saturday will go ahead, saving the Welsh Rugby Union from financial meltdown.

Dragons players have rowed back on their threat to strike after the national union gave in to some of their demands.

The clash, which will generate around £10m for the WRU, was rescued after a day of tense talks at the team's training base near Cardiff.

Wales captain Ken Owens said: "The players are satisfied, hence why the game is on.

"There has been huge frustration over the last couple of months and it is disappointing it got to this stage and the fact we had to make a stand.
