Let's be honest, who would ever want to make such a prat of themselves, like Keown did in 2003?

But it feels like it's been that long since English top-flight football has had a simmering rivalry to cherish and look forward to.

I'm not advocating another 'Battle of the Buffet, which also took place at Old Trafford in 2004 when Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas is said to have hurled a piece of pizza at Sir Alex Ferguson in the tunnel.

And I'm not condoning how Erling Haaland behaved towards Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday when Manchester City salvaged a last-gasp draw eight minutes into added time.

For the record, Haaland chucked the ball into the back of the head of Arsenal's Gabriel, who had pulled his shirt over his face in despair at not winning the game.
