Double act Dave gets ready for the big time

ROCKIN' Elvis impersonator Dave Black is "all shook up" after bagging his first record deal, aged 52.

The former bus driver, who won over the nation's hearts when we revealed his story, has recorded a single with London-based Impact Records.

King fan Dave, who spent his £10,000 redundancy on singing lessons and fake leather suits, now plans to take his hip swivelling act to Las Vegas.

He told the Daily Star: "To be honest with you, my phone hasn't stopped ringing. I'd like to have my own theatre show, which hopefully I will. I'd like to perform in Las Vegas. You've got to think big."
